Breaking Barriers is a volunteer driven non-profit organization that works within our local communities and in conjunction with other local service organizations to provide supportive and educational services to those in need. By coordinating with other providers, we have the ability to fill the gaps in service that they don't have the resources to provide. Our Staff and volunteers provide education services for people at risk for HIV infection, low- and moderate-income people through HIV testing services, outreach, and workshops. We also offer transportation services for clients to and from medical appointments, resource referrals, in home support services and housing referrals.

The Sacramento Valley AIDS Run/Walk is coming!!!

Come out and support your local HIV/AIDS service and prevention organizations! This year funding cuts have taken huge chunks out of the services available to prevent and support those people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Breaking Barriers mission is to help communities come together to support those most in need and right now that mission is in jeopardy! Come down to help, give what you can, everything is appreciated, and enjoy a nice walk or run on a brisk morning for a great cause!
